I'm Mads, the face behind the blog, and I'm so excited to share all things bookish with you. Read and Ramble is a cozy space on the internet for us all to get lost in fictional worlds! Whether you're a Romance, Fantasy, Thriller or Dystopian reader, this blog is for every type of reader; we want you to join the community if you read one book a year, or a hundred. This community is for everyone!

A little bit about me, I'm a 20-year-old bookworm from West Sussex, England, and love all things romance and rom-coms. I properly started my reading journey in September 2021 when I walked into Waterstones and randomly told one of the booksellers that I was interested in getting into reading. The bookseller suggested for me to read It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover, and The Flatshare by Beth O'Leary, and from there, I haven't looked back! I instantly fell in love with the world and community, and loved hearing people's reviews and recommendations. In June 2023, I started posting bookish videos on my TikTok page (@itsmadshope), and have created a little community of book lover friends over there, and thought that a bookish blog would be the perfect way for me to talk more in depth about my favourite books and authors, recommendations, reviews and more!
